Overview

Local numbers, wherever your customers are

A London number tells a London customer you are nearby. A Manchester number does the same in Manchester. Geographic DIDs remain one of the cheapest ways to look established in a region before you have an office there — and with VoIP you can hold numbers in a dozen area codes without a single extra phone line.

We supply UK geographic numbers across all major area codes as well as UK mobile DIDs, delivered over SIP straight into your PBX. Point them at extensions, ring groups, queues or an IVR, and change that routing whenever you like.

Every number carries separate out-of-hours and failover destinations, so if your internet drops or the office closes, calls divert to a mobile or voicemail instead of ringing into nothing. For contact centres and resellers we allocate in bulk.

What's included

What comes with every VOIPNOX number

Routing control is part of the number, not a premium feature.

Geographic ranges

Numbers across all major UK area codes, so you can present a local identity in any region you sell into.

UK mobile DIDs

07 numbers delivered over SIP, useful where customers expect to reach a mobile but you want the call in your PBX.

Flexible routing

Send a number to an extension, ring group, queue or IVR — and change it whenever your team or hours change.

Out-of-hours rules

Separate destinations for evenings, weekends and holidays, so after-hours callers get voicemail or an on-call mobile rather than ringing out.

Failover destinations

If your primary route is unreachable, calls divert automatically to a backup number. An outage stops being a lost sale.

Bulk allocation

Blocks of numbers provisioned together for contact centres, resellers and campaign tracking, managed from one account.

FAQ

Questions about UK numbers

In most cases yes. Tell us which numbers you hold and who provides them now, and we will confirm what can be ported and roughly how long it will take before you commit to anything.

A geographic number carries an area code tied to a UK region, which reads as local and established. A UK mobile DID is an 07 number, which some customers trust more for direct contact. Both terminate into your PBX over SIP in exactly the same way.

There is no fixed cap. Small businesses often run two or three; contact centres and resellers run blocks of hundreds. Bulk allocation is handled from the same account and portal.

Yes — that is the usual reason to hold several. Each DID has its own routing, so a sales number and a support number can reach entirely different queues with different hours and different voicemail.
