Most Pay As You Go accounts are provisioned and making test calls the same working day once your details are verified. Full PBX builds with IVR and security hardening are scoped individually — typically a few days.
The three things that let us quote properly: which PBX or softswitch you run, roughly how many concurrent channels you need, and which destinations you call most. Anything else is a bonus.
That is exactly how we prefer to start. We set up a test trunk, put a small amount of credit on it, and get on the line with you while you place real calls. If the audio is not right, nothing is lost.
